This Permit Card can be obtained from the Nepal Tourism Board or the Trekking Agency Association of Nepal (TAAN). If you are doing Solo Langtang Trek, then you must get this permit yourself by visiting the concerned authorities in Kathmandu.

What is the Cost of a TIMS Permit Card for the Langtang Valley Trek?

Generally, the cost of the TIMS permit depends if you are an independent trekker or trekking with a local agency in Nepal. Also, there are two types of TIMS permits in Nepal: green and blue. The blue TIMS is for visiting restricted places like Upper Mustang Trek or Manalsu Trekking. Likewise, the green card is for places like Langtang Valley Trek and other non-restricted regions.

The Cost of TIMS permit card varies if you are trekking solo or with an agency. For an independent trekker, it costs USD 20 per person.
