We recently did the Mardi Himal trek with Samrat from Mountain Eco Trails and had a great experience. Samrat was very knowledgeable about Nepal’s history and politics and happily answered our many questions. He made sure we had everything we needed at the teahouses, which made the whole experience so smooth and meant we could just focus on enjoying our trek.

We met with our guide both in Kathmandu and in Pokhara before setting off. The team checked over our gear to make sure we were properly equipped, and helpfully recommended a good shop in Kathmandu to pick up last-minute pieces of kit. We had to postpone our trek by a few days due to illness but they were extremely flexible.

Overall, we had a great experience and can highly recommend their guiding services.
