How difficult is Annapurna Base Camp Trekking?
The maximum elevation of the ABC trek is 4130 meters. So, travelers who are used to hiking or trekking can easily do this trek. However, if you are a beginner it can be a bit challenging. You will be walking almost 5-6 hours gaining 500-1000 meter elevation every day. It is very important to be healthy and fit state to complete this trek. During the trek, drink as much water as you can to get rid of Altitude sickness. If you can avoid Altitude sickness, you can complete this trek quite easily.

You will need two permits to do the ABC trek. TIMs (Trekkers Information Management System) and ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area Project) are two trekking permits for ABC. TIMs cost you NRP 2000 (16 USD) and ACAP costs you NPR 3000 (25 USD).
