Possible flight delays during the tour.

Helicopter in the Everest region is used for both Tour and Rescue Operations. Occasionally, you have to wait sometimes for the Helicopter, if there is a rescue mission to save the life of adventure seekers.

Another factor of possible flight delay is the weather changes. Strong wind and low visibility can affect flight operations. The perfect weather to run the flight as per schedule is when visibility of 90% is good. Besides the weather factor, the majority is given if there is any emergency rescue is needed. While you wait for the Choppers to come, you can just explore around or interact with local people.

Note: Not always the emergency rescue or evacuation is in need. But we hope you understand at those moments when the rescue is called, you will wait for the Chopper patiently. Sometimes a rescue can be life-saving for trekkers or any travelers.
