Itinerary

After you arrive at Kathmandu Airport, our staff from Mountain Eco Trails will greet you at the airport and pick you up in a private vehicle to transfer to your hotel. According to your arrival time, we will set up a meeting in our office for the tour briefing and other formalities. After meeting, you can just stroll around the tourist hub, Thamel and witness the nightlife. Overnight stay in Kathmandu, 3-star Accommodation.

Wake up early in the morning and take your breakfast before 8. You will witness some of the historical places of Kathmandu today. Your tour guide will be at the hotel to pick you up in a private vehicle.

After breakfast, you will start the tour towards the Soyambhunath Stupa. From this stupa, you will see the beautiful views of the Kathmandu valley and even the Himalayas on clear days. After Soyambhunath, the tour continues to Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, and lastly Kathmandu Durbar Square (if time allows).

You have to wake up early this morning. The sunrise time is around 5:30 (depends on the season). Hence, you have to wake up at least at 4 in the morning and take a ride to Nagarkot for the sunrise view. The distance from Kathmandu to Nagarkot is 32 Km, which takes at least an hour to reach.
